Awareness Through Movement Classes and
In Awareness through Movement classes, students are actively learning about the habitual muscle tensions that may lead to restrictions, poor posture or injury. There are hundreds of lessons, each of which is carefully structured to release unwanted movement and postural habits, and teach more fluid, effortless and coordinated movement. Developing awareness of our movement is the key to modifying it, hence the name of the classes.

This 4 week series of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes will explore movements of the hip joints, the pelvis and the lower back. You will discover that clarifying the connection between these 3 areas will improve your comfort in many areas of your daily life including sitting and walking.
These classes will be conducted in the studio and also on Zoom simultaneously.
Places in the Studio will be limited to 6 per class so online booking is essential.
You will be asked to fill in brief Covid questionnaire that will come with your studio class reminder email.

NB: Feldenkrais is included in the list of natural therapies that is excluded from the definition of private health insurance general treatment from 1 April 2019. You will not be able to claim a rebate on Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes.
