Awareness Through Movement Classes and
Workshops In Awareness through Movement classes, students are actively learning about the habitual muscle tensions that may lead to restrictions, poor posture or injury. There are hundreds of lessons, each of which is carefully structured to release unwanted movement and postural habits, and teach more fluid, effortless and coordinated movement. Developing awareness of our movement is the key to modifying it, hence the name of the classes. "Getting Centered"
This 4 week series will be an experiential process of exploring your skeletal alignment, finding and sensing a dynamic "home position" where your bones effortlessly support your weight against gravity, leaving your muscles free to move in any direction. When you are physically centered, you may also find a sense of emotional and mental grounding. Thursdays 11am and 6:30pm 11 June - 2 July Saturdays 10am 13 June - 4 July Classes will be both on ZOOM and in the STUDIO. STUDIO CLASSES are limited to 8 places. Online booking essential.
